Sophie’s drama group recently performed a play called, “The Hysterical History of the Trojan War.” Teagan, Latah, and I joined the rest of Sophie’s family to enjoy the Banks Middle School and High School’s delightful production. Sophie played the goddess warrior Athena in the Trojan War play. The entire presentation was actually a series of one act plays, all of which were comical. Sophie also played, “Catchick,” in the hilarious play, “Superhero Support Group.”
Sophie’s roll was one of competition with other Greek gods trying to prove which one of them was the best and most powerful. She had an amazing number of lines to learn.
(Hektor:)
Come then, let us give each other glorious presents,
so that any of the Achaians or Trojans may say of us:
“These two fought each other in heart-consuming hate, then
joined with each other in close friendship, before they were parted.”‘

“Superhero Support Group,” the other play Sophie performed in was hilarious. At the superhero’s support meeting one of the hero’s gets out of control and the others had to subdue him.

We loved your performances Sophie. You did great. The other two plays presented that night, which were also well done, were: “Touched by an Alien,” and “Death Takes the Train.”
Latah, Teagan, and I spent the night at Pebble Creek and left later the following day. The weather was good and we had a great time. Jeannette’s parents Paul and Carolyn where there too.

The kids kept themselves busy as well, swinging, building forts upstairs, working on projects in the house, and just relaxing, as we all did.

The highlight for the kids, in my opinion, was Sammy’s train.
As always, we had a great time at Pebble Creek. Thank you Jason and Jeannette !
